ARCHIVE SUITE...  I am able to do transfers to and from many mediums – from CD, DAT, Betamax and audio cassette to most data formats.
The set-up in this room is ideal for editing, mastering and compiling projects, not only of music but also of speech, soundtracks, jingles etc. Here I can master your recordings ready for CD, Vinyl or upload.
​I can prepare DDP files for your CD manufacturer of choice. 
​I am also available for pre-production/ programming studio with Pro Tools and Logic available. 

No sessions are too big or small, I can handle the production and engineering on long term album projects down to ‘quick demos’.

I have a small selection of acoustic and electric guitars, bass guitar,  a selection of cymbals,  snare drums, percussion and a selection of MIDI instruments and software which are all freely available .
​A very large sample library, ranging from drum sounds and loops to orchestral instruments and sound effects, is also free to use. ​

Mastering : £39 per hour.

OTHER SERVICES

I can offer various ‘bolt ons’: producers, engineers, multi-track location recording, MIDI sequencing and programming, drum editing, vocal editing/ tuning, string arranging, mastering and other music production:

PRODUCERS
I am available to produce your songs. My remit is to always ‘produce’ on any session and not just be a fader twiddler. Should you want us to be more involved in helping with the main production please contact us for a chat. 
 
MIXING
I can mix from existing Pro Tools sessions, Logic sessions, OMF/AAF files and raw audio where alignment info has been provided. I use a variety of hardware and plugins to get high-quality results. Please contact me to get precise format requirements.

MASTERING
I can master from almost any stereo source. I can prepare audio ready for vinyl pressings, CDs and uploads. I will provide a DDP file for the CD manufacturer of choice. Please contact me for details.

​LIVE FOH ENGINEERING
I have worked with bands such as Magnum, Diamond Head and Thunder and many other studio clients. I have experience of a wide range of venues including major festivals, using all kinds of analogue and digital consoles.

LOCATION & LIVE RECORDING
I can arrange  come and record at your gig, rehearsal, concert, or wherever on to at least 32 channels of audio

DRUM EDITING
Got a great drum performance with a few timing issues? Or a take not played to a click but now you need it to be a static tempo? I can fix it! I can prepare triggers and samples too, in audio or MIDI format whichever you prefer.
​
VOCAL EDITING/TUNING
I use various versions of Melodyne to perfect your vocal takes.

ARCHIVE

My past client archive is quite impressive too with many back-ups of mixes from the 1980s onwards. Should you have recorded with me over the past 40 years or so I could possibly still have a copy of the original mixes on a digital format which I could remaster, compile or just send you an audio file. 
​I also have multitrack sessions from  up to 20 years ago, so if there is a session you worked on then but would like to remix, replay etc please contact to cxheck I still have session files.
​
However, I do not have any archives on ¼” tape!
