I finally sold M2 studios in April 2024 and decided that some form of semi retirement would be appropriate. The studio was acquired by Alex Copp a succesful producer and I wish him the best of luck and any future success. The studio is still available to me to dry hire, so if you need to do anything please let me know.  However, since selling up I have been very busy. Sheena had to still finish mixing some projects she was in the middle of and indeed took on the role of producer/ mixer for a Trishula album due to be released  in early 2025. The after the sad passing of Tony Clarkin of Magnum, a band I had been working for for most of the last 30 years, it was decided  by their management to do a small tribute tour in January 2025 and I was enrolled as Tour manager and also to do their sound for FOH. 
I have renewed acquaintances with a few clients who still wish to work with me, which is very humbling and exciting. I am therefore in the middle of mixing a live album for the Big Wolf band, have mixed 2 Christmas singles and am about to embark on recording another. I have also been approached to help with the set up of a studio in Cannock which will not only offer digital recording but it will also be able to record on to tape!. Yes a proper analogue studio. More details on that very soon. 
Sheena has left and gone in to the world of NHS administration. This is a very sad moment for the music business as she was an extraordinary talent and will be missed by many who knew her skills in the recording studio. I wish her huge luck in her future career. She will be missed

It has been a busy summer so far with albums being recorded, produced, mixed & mastered. Magnum are in the final throes, Big Wolf Band are well into their next studio album. Mike Davids has recorded a live studio album and other clients have been getting great reviews Ant Green, Sig & The Fire Pilots, Never Stay Down to name a few. Also our regulars each year the Light & Life Mission have recorded 2 more albums. Phew!! We are looking forward to the next few months with more work clicking in to our diary. 

The website heavily features the corporate colours of the branding and has sections about our history, services, personnel and equipment for those that want to find out more. It was built with smart phones in mind so hopefully potential customers can quickly find what they are looking for and make a booking.
