Vacancies

Currently there are no vacancies at Mad Hat's Studio.

However, we do not discourage people from writing to us with applications for jobs whether they be as session musicians, composers or as assistants/engineers.

Certain criteria would have to be met should opportunities arise for engineers or assistants. We would only consider applicants who have had further education and qualifications from a recognised music technology/sound recording course at HND level or higher. People who just want to work in the recording industry should consider obtaining those qualifications, as other studios would probably have similar conditions.

Anyone who would like to send us unsolicited applications, or indeed applications for advertised posts, please note we would prefer it if they were sent by snail mail and included, if possible, a handwritten letter.  E-mails are always read, however, they generally get 'filed'.
  

Work Experience

This industry is very appealing to many many people and only a very few actually make it. It is now our policy to only consider work experience placements for students who are actually enrolled on further educational courses, as above. The reason for this is due to the large number of requests that we receive each year.
