We actively encourage up and coming bands to do professional recordings from the very start. A badly produced recording can be the worst start a band wishing to further itself in the music business can make. Many record companies nowadays will not even listen to more than a few seconds of a badly produced recording. It is in your interest, therefore, to start as you mean to go on. By all means record demos in your rehearsal room or a home studio for 'your ears only', but when sending out recordings to record companies, gig promoters, and the like, quality of the end product could mean at least a decent listen.

We love to help you through your recording session, we listen to what you want - your ideas, show you a few of our production techniques and get an end result which you can be proud of and will hopefully lead on to bigger and better things. With regard to acts who are just programming using sequencers, samplers, HD recording and MIDI it has been said, by A & R people, that a demo has to be, in effect, a finished product that could be potentially remixed later.

1 'day' consists of a 10 hour session, typically 10:00am to 8:00pm.  Weekends are our busiest periods.  We do large discounts for weekday sessions and for sessions of two days or more. Please contact us for more details.

Digital recording - up to 256 tracks on Logic Pro

Price based on a booking of 5 or more 10 hour weekdays. Prices vary depending on session duration. Weekends are charged with a supplement. Discounts available in quieter periods. Call 01902 940440 to discuss your specific needs and we will do our best to accomodate your budget.

This rate includes our in house producer/engineer, all MIDI programming and Pro Tools editing facilities, use of the huge sample library, MIDI keyboards and modules, and any musical instruments available at the time (Hammond organ, Marshall amp and cabs, guitars, percussion etc.) For bookings of a full day or more, the price also includes mastering and burning of an audio CD.

Additional Charges

If you wish to take away copies of the session data and/or audio files (we use 24-bit wav format as standard, but can provide others on request) these will be charged at £5 per CD or £10 per DVD. If you require this please let us know when booking studio time. Where a session has finished and back up is not requested we cannot hold responsibility for keeping data.

DAT tapes, additonal CDs or DVDs of data or audio (prices from £2.50 dependent on length of program), and equipment hire (if required) are also extra.

Please note generous discounts are available for long term sessions.

Tea, Coffee and use of 'catering' and chill out facilities are free!!
