Mark Stuart, Sheena Sear and Tony Clarkin are based here at Mad Hat.  We are willing to consider production projects of all styles of music but mainly rock orientated from metal to indie and progressive.

Freelance sound engineers
Mark's experience both on the road and of course in the studio makes him an asset for both studio and live work.  We also have contacts for of other experienced road and studio engineers.  Sheena is also available for any freelance work in studios.

Programmers/Operators
Mark & Sheena can work with Logic, Pro Tools and Cubase as well as many samplers, keyboards and drum machines.

We can offer advice on home recording or even come to see you at your studio to help you achieve the best possible results.

Do you need a musician or singer for a studio or live session?  Contact us we may know someone who exactly fits the bill.

We have contacts for guitar, drum, keyboard technicians with a vast amount of professional experience.

Equipment Hire
We do hire out a small selection of items or we know someone else.  The midlands is very short of this facility so call us if you are desperate.

Rehearsal & Practice Rooms
Although we do not offer rehearsal facilities we can tell you where to go!!  (If you know what we mean).

CD duplication
One-offs up to 20 we will do for you.  Larger quantities we can arrange which can include printing, shrink wrap etc.

Digital mastering and editing
We will master your recording whether you have recorded it here or not. We have facilities to transfer from Betamax, vinyl, VHS, DAT, Minidisc, cassette, CD and most formats of DVD.

Mobile and location recording
From organising the recording of your gig concert, choir, ensemble - whatever - to the end product.  Contact us for more details.  We can now offer 24 tracks of digital multitrack location recording.  More can be arranged if required.

Conference recording
Do you need to record someone's speech or lecture?  Do you need to record an interview?  Contact us.

School assembly and concert recordings
We have quite a few of these under our belt from combined schools choirs and orchestras to school plays with the final product on CD from infants to colleges.
